City Diamonds - Terms of delivery

Products will be delivered by City Diamonds standard within 10 days.
Delivery sooner possible by special request.
If the product is not in stock and the delivery time goes beyond, we will contact you as soon as possible.
Orders made by Bank/Giro, will be shipped on the first day after your payment is received on our bankaccount.
When the delivery time of 10 days will be passed, City Diamonds will contact the customer as soon as possible and give the opportunity to stop the order without any charges. If payments are already made they will be sent back as soon as possible, with a maximum of 15 days after the notification.
To the rest of the world deliveries are made by standard or priority post. The delivery time depends on the method of delivery (standard or priority) and the country where the delivery is to be made.

The invoice

Orders made at City Diamonds by electronic means, will give the customer an invoice by electronic means.
All administrative errors will be corrected as soon as possible, but at the latest within 14 days after the notification.
With prepayment the customer has to transfer the total amount of money at the latest 14 days after the order is made to our bank account. If that has not happened the purchase will be cancelled.

Guarantees

City Diamonds will see to it that the delivered products come up to the agreement and that they will meet the specifications mentioned in the shop.
City Diamonds shall repair or replace the delivered products, if within 10 days after the delivery it appears that the products are not good (after normal use) or are different than the ordered products.
The buyer must, within a reasonable term after the confirmation of the defect, but at the latest within 10 days after receipt of the product, make mention of the defect to City Diamonds. The buyer must return the product(s) to City Diamonds directly after the report.
All products delivered by City Diamonds have a guarantee of 1 year unless otherwise stated. This means that every product, used in the normal way, that shows any defect within 1 year from the date of purchase may be returned to City Diamonds. It will be replaced or repaired as soon as possible but at the latest 30 days after receiving the defective product.

Complaints and controversies transaction

All agreements made with customers resident in Holland are subject to Dutch law. City Diamonds submits itself to the jurisdiction of the judge in the jurisdiction of the judge at the locale of the buyer or the judge in the area of sale. This shall be at the discretion of the customer.
City Diamonds will give every assistance to the consumer's association to solve the problem.

Laws and regulations

City Diamonds complies with the Dutch laws and legislation with special attention to Consumer Legislation.

Data proccessing and privacy

When you place an order at City Diamonds it's of course necessary that you give us your peronal information, because we need that information to send you the product. All information sent to City Diamonds will be handled with with the greatest care.
City Diamonds offers the buyer the possibility to stop the sending of information and advertising(electronic) at any time. Just send us an email, fax or letter and we will remove you from our database.

Special Situations

City Diamonds reserves the right to refuse customers who have tried in any way to disadvantage City Diamonds.
If an order is attached by Customs, is damaged during transportation or is lost during transportation City Diamonds will always try to find the right solution in consultation with the transport company. Either with refunding the money or by sending the ordered product again. Of course we try first to find out what went wrong and who is responsible.
